Murder ID: 19-Year-Old Victim Gunned Down On Hudson Valley Street

Police have identified a 19-year-old who was shot and killed on a Hudson Valley street over thee weekend.

Dutchess County resident Thomas Galimore Rhodes, of the city of Poughkeepsie, was found around 2 a.m., Saturday, May 13 in the area of Soldiers Fountain at Market and Montgomery Streets, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark.

He was transported to Vassar Hospital where he died during surgery, Clark said.

An autopsy was performed on Monday, May 15 by the Dutchess County Medical Examiner, the cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds, Clark said.
